My Musical Journey
Hi, I’m Gerson Lizama (Viña del Mar, Chile) a composer, guitarist, and director of the boutique record label Caoba Records.
For me, music is more than sound. It is a refuge, a space where everything quiets down and emotions find their place.
I have always felt the call of art, but for years I struggled to find the right way to express it. My training and professional life were not initially linked to music, which placed it in a secondary role—first as a session musician, then as a composer.
Until one day, in 2019, I decided to leave everything behind and fully devote myself to the only thing that truly made me feel alive: creating my own music. Five years later, with four studio albums, 74 published compositions, and over 8 million streams, I continue to explore and discover new paths in every piece I write.
